These temporary jobs could come available as early as March 2014.

It is also likely as boats come into the facility temporary jobs in Portland will be boasted to satisfy the sudden demand.

Portland Port is one of the worlds largest man made ports in the world and handles over 650 boats per year. Over the past decade the Port Authority and the Council have been working hard to try and redevelop the docks area after the Navy pulled out in 1998. This has resulted in a number of cruise ships now using the port to make stops giving the local economy a boost as passengers take the opportunity to visit Weymouth and the local area.

Recently Weymouth and Portland hosted the sailing category of the London 2012 Olympic Games. Shinning to spotlight on this part of the world.
