Our client located on Portland is seeking TWO Chefs (Industrial) to join their team. This is a temporary to permanent role. They operate a fixed shift pattern, 45 hours one week and second week 28 hours. Overtime can be gained by covering shifts or covering holiday if required. You will not be working in a hospitality environment. This is an industrial kitchen with set times and menus. This role will involve you to pass security checks to work on-site.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing and cooking food using ingredients with minimal waste
• Supporting offenders to work safely and efficiently
• Co-ordinating supplies of food and ingredients
• Catering for diets on grounds of religious beliefs and medical issues
• Serving food from the kitchen or hotplate, and deliver food by trolley
• Checking hygiene and contribute to the review of catering standards

CV must show:

• Previous Chef Experience.
• Knowledge in all aspects such as health and safety, Control of Substance Hazardous to Health (COSHH), machinery and tools usage.
• Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2.

Candidates must hold:

• Passport or Birth Certificate with proof of National Insurance
