Sales Support Specialist

Gillingham, Dorset/Remote (Please note only candidates local to the area will be considered due to onsite team meetings)

£10.75 per hour

Immediate Start

Monday-Friday

9.00am-5.30pm

12 month contract

 

We are delighted to be supporting an international client recruit for a Sales Support Specialist for a 12 month contract.

 

The sales support specialist is the first point of contact for the sales organisation. You will be supporting internal and external customer requests. You will be using the given tools to ensure customer satisfaction and performance standards.

 

You will require excellent computer skills and have the ability to learn.

 

Key Tasks Include:

• Maintaining good relationships with internal and external customers

• Attending sales meets

• Suggesting ideas for improvement

• Autonomously handle coordination or quotations and yearly agreements

• Checking of prices and availability

• Qualifying incoming calls

• Awareness of competitors

• Support new customers

• Following up on customer satisfaction surveys

 

Who we are looking for:

• Preferably 2 years professional experience in a customer facing environment

• Customer orientated and flexible

• Strong Administrative Skills

• Excellent Organisational skills

• Advance computer literacy with experience of Microsoft Office suite (also any experience with SAP, Oracle and Access will be beneficial)

• Strong communication skills at all levels, internal and external

• Pro-Active attitude

• Ability to work to deadlines

• Happy to work outside of scope

• High level of written and spoken English, any other European languages would be advantageous
