Our client is seeking an experienced and energetic RESTAURANT MANAGER to join their already excelling team in Dorchester. The ideal candidate will already be in an assistant manager role looking to take their next step in the industry. You will ensure efficient restaurant operation, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards. You will lead by example and uplift the staff within a busy, fast-paced working environment.

  • Take responsibility for the business performance of the restaurant
  • Managing shifts and opening and closing procedures.
  • Coordinate the operation of the restaurant ensuring that kitchen, bar and waiting staff are working as a team
  • Manage multiple sections of guests, giving each and every one the best experience possible.
  • Prepare reports at the end of the shift/week, including staff control, food control and sales
  • Plan and coordinate menus, working closely with the head chef
  • Respond to customer queries and complaints

CV MUST show the following:

  • Experience running day to day restaurant
  • Knowledge/Experience with P&L & budgeting.
  • Expertise in financial management, inventory control, and staff training
  • Working with systems such as Touch Office and PlanDay (EPOS and Rota Management).
  • Experience with reservation systems & larger bookings.

Candidates MUST hold:

  • Passport or Birth Certificate with proof of National Insurance
