Mon to Thurs 07.30am to 15.30pm,

Fri 07.30am to 15.00pm

37 hours per week

MUST HOLD full UK Manual Driving Licence with own car

Our client is seeking a Parks & Gardens Operative to join their green spaces team on a temporary basis. For the right candidate this could lead to a permanent position at the client’s discretion. You must be over 18, hold a full manual UK driving licence, have own car with proof of business insurance. Work mileage will be paid at £0.45 per mile.

  • Emptying Park bins and litter picking
  • Maintaining shrub and flower borders, and general maintenance
  • Sweeping, clearing of litter, leaves and fly tipping
  • Cleaning of graffiti
  • Previous experience of using electric leaf blower and petrol strimmer as and when required.
  • Ensure that equipment and vehicles used are thoroughly checked prior to use, any faults or defects are reported with immediate effect and that maintenance logs are accurately and promptly maintained.
  • Routinely to clean vehicles inside and out, and ensure that basic maintenance tasks are regularly undertaken in accordance with local procedures and requirements.
  • Maintain routine administration records as required.
  • To carry out any other reasonable requests/tasks in addition to standard duties.

MUST HOLD

  • Up to date CV showing previous working experience in similar role.
  • Full UK Manual Driving licence – No more than 3 points
  • Happy to use own car (Proof of business insurance required)
  • Passport or Birth Certificate with National Insurance Proof
