Our client based in Dorchester is seeking a MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN OPERATIVE to join the team on a temporary to permanent basis. They are seeking an all-rounder who will be responsible for upkeep/running of their production lines and equipment.
Duties will include but not limited too:
- Daily checks on the production machines and equipment
- Checking water treatment system and sludge removal
- Meter reading and monitoring of other processes.
- Request and order equipment as and when required
- Use of company van to deliver products locally.
- Use of a forklift – training will be provide if licence not held
- Caretaking duties of the outdoor areas
Within your CV, you must show evidence of the following skills:
- 18th Edition Electrical Qualification is essential
- Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment would be advantageous
- Plumbing would be an advantage but not essential
- Excellent communication skills and able to follow instructions
- Ability to prioritise workload and pay attention to detail
- Ability to diagnose and problem solve
- Team work is essential with this role
Candidates must hold:
- Passport or Birth Certificate with proof of National Insurance
- A full UK manual driving licence to use company van.
