Our client based in Dorchester is seeking, are seeking a Housing Advisor (Sheltered) to join them on a temporary on-going basis that could lead to a permanent role. You will be working the areas of Bridport and surrounding areas.
Reporting to the Team Leader your responsibilities will include:
- To undertake weekly contact with all scheme customers
- To undertake monthly testing of all scheme equipment
- Assisting in the viewings of new potential residents
- Dealing with all aspects of scheme management and associated paperwork
- Providing sign-posting/referral services where necessary both internally and externally
- Arranging and managing scheme meetings and activities
- This role will require you to work on an out of hours on call rota scheme for which you will receive additional pay
- You may be required on occasion to travel to other Magna sites across Dorset providing cover for other colleagues where necessary
- You will be responsible for managing all aspects of scheme management, compliance, and associated paperwork.
- You will be provided with the necessary IT equipment and a ‘working from home’ allowance to support this
CV must show experience of:
- Experience of working in supported housing or similar environment is desirable
- You will be customer focused with a desire to exceed customer expectations and deliver high level of customer service at all times
- You will be highly competent in maintaining accurate records with an excellent level of IT skills. Whilst being able to learn new systems quickly and with ease
- A proven ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally.
- Experience of maintaining client confidentiality is essential
- You must have a full UK Driving License and use of a car
Candidates must hold:
- Passport or Birth Certificate with proof of National Insurance
- 2 years previous employment reference history
- UK Driving licence and use of own car
