Our client is heading into their peak season and they are seeking FLT DRIVER / WAREHOUSE OPERATIVES to join them. They are located on a working farm in Litton Cheney, Dorchester hence needing own transport to get to site. You will need to carry out regular stock checks and maintain internal databases. You will be allocating stock into correct locations using their warehouse system. The role will also involve packing, moving products and assisting on deliveries. This is a manual labour role. If you hold a Counter Balance forklift licence this would be an advantage, however the client will train you to obtain this licence. Potential to lead to a permanent role for the right candidate.
Within your CV, you must show evidence of the following skills:
- Previous warehouse or factory experience, ideally deliveries and despatch.
- Excellent communication skills and able to follow instructions
- Ability to prioritise workload and pay attention to detail
- Able to keep work space clear and safe
- Team work is essential with this role
- Loading and wrapping pallets ready to be sent out to clients
- To pack, handle and hold stock of any cheese, butter or whey product produced on site, specifically within the Dairy, Speciality Room & Farm
Required:
- Passport or Birth Certificate with proof of National Insurance
