We have an exciting role for an experienced CNC Machinist to join our progressing wood works company near to Winchester, Hampshire.

Your role will include:

  • Operation of CNC machines and adjusting controls
  • Working with a variety of different wooden materials (experience desirable but happy to train a CNC machinist with metal working experience)
  • Loading raw materials into machines
  • Ensuring machines running smoothly at all times
  • Making sure finished products are finished to specification and surfaces smooth (usual caliper sand gauges)
  • Adjusting blades and heads on machine

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a CNC Operator 
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings
  • A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach
  • Excellent team player

£14.50-£15.50 per hour, plus an hourly bonus of up to £2 per hour (realistically £16.50-£17.50 per hour)

Hours of work: Monday-Friday 1pm-10pm or 2pm-11pm
